The Man, The Myth, The Legend

Sir Winston Churchill was a statesman and infamous leader of British troops during WWII. He vacillated back in forth from the liberal to conservative parties of his country, finally landing on the conservative side. When I look at pictures of him, I find him a growly man. His stare would penetrate the enemy and scare small children. Underneath, he was really a man of marshmallow. He said some kind things and wrote of history, earning him the Nobel Prize in Literature.

Why do I bring him into light today? His words are profound which offer a segue into kindness. Put things into perspective. Read on.
Sir Winston Churchill

We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.” – Sir Winston Churchill

Be Kind, Rewind

Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see. Be kind. Pay it forward. Give to others. Wouldn't you rather be a giver than a taker? Givers receive much more than they give while takers take and take, but remain with an empty tank they can never fill.
